Parking Garage Expansion Joint Reinforcement

The project will occur in the Roswell Park Campus Parking Garage. The Parking Garage consists of three levels: Ground Level (Slab-on-grade) First Floor Level (post-tensioned structural slab) Roof Level (post-tensioned structural slab) Item 1: Repair Concrete Slab Adjacent to, and replace expansion joint in Northeast Quadrant of the First Floor of the Parking Ramp. Work will include replacement of approximately 11’ of post-tension strands and anchorage hardware along both sides of the joint. Item 2: Replace Roof Level expansion joints along the North and South stairwells. Work includes miscellaneous concrete and CMU repairs/replacements as indicated on the Drawings, or as required for installation of new expansion joint seal. Item 3: Re-profile steps leading from Roof Level and First Intermediate Landing of North stairwell as indicated on the Drawings. Work includes removal and reinstallation of aluminum stair tread nosing.
