Description

Improvements to Pleasant Green Building project SPECIFICATIONS - Cooper County EMA is seeking proposals for construction and remodeling work of a county owned building located at 8151 Highway 135, Pilot Grove, MO 65276. The work will generally include carpentry, metal siding, gutters, painting, trim work, and clean up.The building is being improved to house equipment operated by County's Emergency Management Agency. The present structure is approximately 22'4" long by 12'3" wide with approximately 91" high exterior side walls and 126" to the underside of the peak on back and front. The soffits extend about 12" on each side and the gable overhang is approximately 18" in both ends. Each end of the building has a vent for ventilation in the attic. SIDING/EXTERIOR 2.2.5. Furnish and replace weather/smoke seals on the overhead and walk-in doors. 2.4. PAINTING/FINISH 2.4.2 Prime and paint existing exterior walk in door. 2.5. CLEANUP 2.5.1. Clean up and haul off all debris from work at the site. 2.3.2. Install a 36 inch by 80-inch, insulated metal door with bottom seal, to swing out with a lever handled lock keyed to our keys shall be installed in this wall as shown in drawing. 2.3.3. Cut in a nominal 2' x 2' square attic access hole with cover in the garage area of the building. Trim out opening and provide removable cover. 2.2.3. Furnish and install new metal exterior siding on all exterior walls with new vents, soffits and gable overhangs trimmed out. County will provide a nominal 24" x 24" cable entry panel that Supplier will install as part of new metal siding project. Siding around entry panel must be trimmed and sealed as with a typical building opening. 2.3. CARPENTRY AND FRAMING INTERIOR - Construct nominal T wide by 1T long partitioned room with entry door inside the existing building. 2.2.2. Replace damaged wood including framing and sheathing on the exterior of the building found during siding removal. 2.2.4. Furnish and install new five-inch metal guttering with downspouts and drains to take runoff at least 6' away from the building. 2.2.1. Remove, haul off, and dispose of existing siding including nails, fasteners, and hardware.
