Description | LCHS D130 is inviting sealed Bid Proposals from interested and qualified parties for the following bid packages for the Tennis Court Reconstruction project Bid Package 01 - Asphalt Paving Bid Package 02 - General Trades. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. All correspondence including but not limited to, questions regarding scope shall be directed to the office of CORE Construction Services of Illinois, Inc., Attention: Levi Bauer; Email: levibauer@coreconstruction.com; Telephone: 309- 404-4700 Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The Owner requires all contractors and vendors doing business with the Owner not to discriminate against anyone on the basis of race, age, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, non-job-related handicaps, or national origin. LCHS D130 reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any and all informalities in the bidding. After receipt of bids and completion of the review process, LCHS D130 may award a contract to the bidder that, in its opinion, will provide a combination of the best services and reasonable cost. Successful bidders shall be required to observe the fair employment practices commission rules pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.., and use wage determination as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, Conciliation, and Mediation Division dated current to the bid date. These wages will remain in effect until superseded by a new determination. Bids will be held good for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids. |
