PROPOSAL A: HYDROPONICS & AQUAPONICS LAB INSTALLATION Movable Vertical Hydroponic System: 130 plant capacity. These systems are designed to grow a wide variety of leafy greens and herbs for harvesting and bagging. They are built on industrial wheel casters to be easily moved throughout the space. 300 Plant Large Scale Aquaponics System: 96"Lx 30"Wx 78"H. LED lighting. This 8ft long system unit. 300 Plant capacity, 300 gallon aquaponics system. This system shall fit perfectly between the two center beams in the greenhouse, allowing ease of access on both sides. This two-in-one production system grows lettuce and tilapia as food sources. The fish provide fertilizer for the plants and the plants filter and clean the water for the fish in a recirculating, symbiotic ecosystem. 16 Plant Dutch Bucket Hydroponics System: Two 8 bucket, 8ft long systems shall be spaced side by side to the left of the Aquaponics System. Dutch Buckets are built to grow heavy fruiting crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, and pepper. The intention of these systems is to provide a 6-8ft tall foliage barrier that gives the feeling of walking through rows of crops. The current lighting system in the greenhouse will accommodate winter growth of these light dependent crops. PROPOSAL B: AQUAPONICS LAB FULL-SERVICE Routine Maintenance Routine maintenance schedules will ensure that your aquaponics & Hydroponics system remains crystal clear, that the plants are always flourishing, and the fish remain happy and healthy. Aquaponics systems require regular filter changes, pest management, channel purging, and water quality testing to ensure a healthy ecosystem.
