Description

Architect's Job No. 21203 The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of the West Virginia Adjutant General's Office Mountaineer Challenge Academy SOUTH located at 305 Fayette Pike, Montgomery, WV 25136, to establish a contract to provide all labor, materials, tools, & equipment to complete the Renovations of the Tech Center & Maclin Hall (Phase 3), as further described The West Virginia Army National Guard, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for the Renovations to the Tech Center and Maclin Hall according to the Request for Quotations (RFQ) issued by the West Virginia Purchasing Division. Sealed bids will be received at the West Virginia Purchasing Division Office until the time and date listed in the State's Request for Quotations. Technical Questions Due by Noon 2022-05-31 Technical Questions Due - Submit question to - David Pauline, Senior Buyuer, 2019 Washington St. East, Charleston, WV 25305. Fax -(304) 558-3970. Email - David.H.Pauline@wv.gov Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. It is hereby certified that the undersigned is the only person(s) interested in this proposal as principal, and the proposal is made without collusion with any person, firm, or corporation. Bidder hereby agrees to execute the contract and furnish surety company bonds, in the forms incorporated in the contract documents, in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price for performance, including maintenance, and for payment for labor and materials, respectively at the time required by the bidding documents, and to begin work within five (5) days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. Each Bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for his Bid to be considered. Each Bidder's registration certificate number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State prior to submitting a bid for this project as required by Chapter 21, Article 11, of the Code of West Virginia. Each Bidder's Contractor license number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall execute and deliver to the Owner within 10 days after the award, and before signing the contract, a Performance Bond and Payment Bond utilizing the bond forms bound in the Project Manual each in a penal sum equal to at least the contract sum and the cost of such bonds shall be included in the bid. Where brand names are shown, these names are intended to describe a quality of product, and in no way are intended to limit products of equal quality. Therefore, products of other manufacturers may be employed for this work provided they are of equivalent materials and construction, and are equally adaptable to the conditions as approved by the Architect. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive minor informalities and procedures in bidding, and the right to withhold final award of contract for 60 days after opening bids.
