Description | Construction of the 2022 Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements. Including but not limited to demolition and replacement of 17 single drop diffuser ball valves, two (2) grit pumps, one (1) grit classifier, the grit removal system control panel, grit piping, four (4) forcemain downspouts, 32 aeration basin coarse bubble diffuser drop legs, 12 air header butterfly valves, approximately 96 aeration basin coarse bubble diffusers, RAS channel level transducer and panel, two (2) thickener mechanisms, two (2) thickener control panels, approximately 44 digester coarse bubble diffusers, WAS timer, and roll-off dumpster winch and electrical circuit and control panel; removal of grit, debris, rags, and other solids or semi-solid material from inside the headworks, two (2) grit chamber basins, two (2) aeration basins, and two (2) digesters; concrete repair and epoxy coating to the influent box, grit chambers, and screen channel walls and underside of top slab and concrete crack repair; concrete repair in the thickeners and digesters; blasting and recoating the force main piping; necessary bypass equipment to perform the work; installation of two (2) telescopic valves and associated yard piping and manhole; demolition and installation of the sludge load off dumpster slab and track guides; touch up coating on drain piping; replacement of the generator enclosure; recoating one (1) fuel tank; application of repair mortar in three (3) UV Channels. The bidder shall submit either a 2% certified or cashier's check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Owner. Bidder must be capable of executing a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond for 100 percent (100%) of the contract sum in accord with the conditions of the contract. The Board of Directors of the District (the "Board") has determined the general prevailing rate of per diem wages by using the prevailing wage rate as determined by the United States Department of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 60 days from the date bids are open. |
