West Cameron Avenue Water Line Replacement - Phase 2

The Project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for: 1. Complete and operable installation of approximately 3,200 linear feet of 12-inch restrained joint ductile iron water pipeline from a point roughly 150 feet north of the intersection of Merritt Mill Road and West Cameron Avenue to a point roughly 150 feet east of the intersection of Pittsboro Street and West Cameron Avenue. 2.Installation of approximately 200 linear feet of 24-inch steel casing to be installed via open cut under existing railroad lines in two (2) locations, through which the aforementioned 12-inch restrained joint ductile iron water pipeline will run. 3. As part of an alternate bid, installation of approximately 500 linear feet of 2-inch copper and PVC water pipeline on Cameron Court. 4. Installation of all temporary and permanent water services, interconnections, and fire hydrant assemblies required to install a complete and operable water lines meeting local requirements and requirements as described in the contract documents. 5. Abandonment of approximately 6,600 linear feet of 12-inch AC or CI pipeline by cellular concrete or grout fill. 6. As part of an alternate bid, abandonment of approximately 500 linear feet of 2-inch galvanized pipeline. 7. Applicable traffic control, restoration, erosion and sediment control, permitting, and other.
