Proposals will be binding for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date opened. The Town of Lexington reserves the right to reject any and all proposals (or portions of proposals), to cancel a solicitation, and to waive any technicality if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town of Lexington shall reserve the right to award the purchase order to the proposal which is most advantageous to the Town of Lexington. The Town of Lexington, South Carolina, is requesting proposals to fully replace the roof on the Town Hall complex located at 111 Maiden Lane. The project includes any and all material and labor to provide a "turnkey" replacement of approximately 32,000 square feet of shingle roof and 2400 square feet of flat roof membrane. The scope of work should include, but may not be limited to; 1) Providing all materials, labor and equipment to perform all roof replacement work. Specifications for materials used shall be provided. 2) Remove and replace 3-tab asphalt shingles with new shingles similar in color and style and rated for 25 years or greater. Installation must be completed according to manufacturer's specifications to the highest warranty criteria. All new boots, ridge vents etc. should also be included. 3) Remove existing flat roof asphalt build up and replace with new TPO membrane to include ISO board if needed. TPO is to be installed per manufacturer's specifications to meet the highest warranty criteria. 4) Replace any damaged or rotten roof decking as necessary. 5) Provide cleanup and removal of all construction debris. |
