Description | Existing structures demolished and removed from the site. Foundation and all footers will not be removed as part of this contract other than if necessary and approved by the town utilities superintendent. Regular watering of demolition will be required to decrease dust infiltration to surrounding homes. Any existing basement pits must be filled with approved aggregate or pea gravel and made level to surrounding floor or foundation. Existing sidewalks, drive, parking lot, and gravel area can remain as is. An erosion control plan will be required. Contractor to cap sewer service in coordination with town utilities superintendent prior to demolition. Contractor to confirm all remaining utilities (gas, electric, etc.) have been retired prior to demolition. |
