Inverness Airport Taxiway A1 Relocation, Taxiways B, C and Aprons Rehabilitation Projects

Rehabilitate the asphalt pavement on Taxiways B and C, the northeast apron, and associated taxi drives. The project also includes the demolition of existing Taxiway A1 and construction of new Taxiway A1 approximately 200 feet north of the existing location. The project will consist of three (3) Bid Schedules that include the following: „h Schedule A: Relocate Taxiway A1: This Schedule includes the following main scopes of work (all quantities are approximate); Full depth reclamation of the existing 850 square yards of pavement section, 1,400 CY of unclassified excavation and 700 CY of embankment borrow (off-site); construct 150 linear feet of (2) 24¡¨ x 38¡¨ Class V RCP and 2 mitered end sections; place, mix and compact 850 SY of stabilized recycled asphalt base (10¡¨ depth); pave 325 tons of P-403 Asphalt Mix Pavement; provide 5,000 SF of taxiway temporary and permanent yellow and black markings; and provide 9,500 SY of sod. The airfield electrical work includes taxiway edge lighting and signage replacement. „h Schedule B: Rehabilitate Taxiways B & C: This Schedule includes the following scopes of work (all quantities are approximate): mill 4,200 SY of 2¡¨ existing asphalt pavement; pave 510 tons of P-403 Asphalt Mix Pavement, provide 8,300 SF of temporary and permanent yellow and black markings, and provide 1,800 SY of sod. „h Schedule C: Rehabilitate apron and taxi-drives: This Schedule includes the following scopes of work (all quantities are approximate): mill 5,800 SY of 2¡¨ existing asphalt pavement; pave 650 tons of P-403 Asphaltic Mix Pavement; provide temporary and permanent yellow and black markings, and provide 1,500 SY of sod. All work shall be in accordance with the FAA Advisory Circulars, construction plans, special provisions and contract documents.
