Description

Bid date has been extended from 1/18/2023 to 1/25/2023 The Byram Hills Central School District, Westchester County, NY, invites bid proposals for the following: Project Identification: Water Service Replacement Serving Coman Hill Elem School Submit Requests for Interpretation (RFIs) to the Architect in specified written format when information is missing from the Contract Documents or other data available to the Contractor is missing, or such information is ambiguous or in apparent conflict with other portions of the Contract Documents. 1. Submit Requests in writing for Clarifications or Interpretations to: a. KSQ Design, Doug Kay, 215 West 40 th Street, 15 th Floor, NY, NY 10018, email: dkay@ksq.design. Wages to workers, laborers and mechanics employed to work on this project, shall be paid in accordance with Section 220 of the Labor Law, and in accordance with the Prevailing Rate Schedules found in the Project Manual, and proof of such payments will be required. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, drawn upon a National or State Bank or Trust Company, payable to the order of the Byram Hills Central School District, or a bond from a surety licensed to practice business in the State of New York with sufficient sureties in a penal sum equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, conditioned that if this bid is accepted, successful bidder will enter into a contract for the same and that he will execute such further security as may be required for the performance of the contract. A separate Performance Bond, equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will also be required of the successful bidders, and the bond shall be from a surety licensed to practice business in the State of New York, satisfactory to the School Board. A separate Payment Bond, equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum will also be required of the successful bidders, and the bond shall be from a surety licensed to practice business in the State of New York, satisfactory to the School Board.
