Description | Consist of routine mowing services located at the Leesburg International Airport. Routine mowing is required to control growth in the grassed areas of the Leesburg International Airport. The routine mowing of the Leesburg International Airport. The Parties understand that such routine mowing is required to control growth in grassed areas including those adjacent to the runways and taxiways. The primary purpose of a runway is to provide a safe area for landing aircraft. The purpose of grass slopes and ditches are to primarily control erosion, and secondly to provide a stabilized recovery area. Contractor will be responsible for carrying out the proper procedures to ensure that the purposes of these grassed areas are not jeopardized. |
