Make-Up Air Units -- Building 299 -- Rock Island Arsenal

PROJECT SUMMARY: USAG-RIA has a requirement to repair, by replacement, the four (4) Make-up Air Units that presently serve the southwest corner of Building 299. The scope of this project is to remove the existing Gas Fired Make-up Air Units and install four (4) Custom Make-Up Air Units with Hot Water Heating Coils. In addition, a new boiler room will be constructed with new boilers to serve the new Make-up Air Units. Construction includes, but is not limited to the following: insulated metal stud walls with drywall, metal doors with hollow metal frames, electrical lighting, painting, Custom Built Make-up Air Units with controls, Hot Water Heating system with four (4) new boilers, hot water distribution piping, distribution pumps, natural gas piping, replacement of existing DDC Controls, modification of existing fire sprinklers, modification of existing fire alarm, and modification of existing electrical systems.
