Description | Minority- and/or Women-owned businesses are encouraged to respond The Contractor will provide all material and labor to complete the construction work detailed herein and within any applicable attachments most specifically within Attachment K and K-1. All work is to be completed in strict accordance with manufacturer instructions and all federal, state, and local codes and regulations. Failure to abide by the aforementioned requirements may result in the required removal and reinstallation of materials at the Contractor's expense. Demolition: o Remove and dispose built up roof materials including insulation and backer board. o Remove and dispose aluminum gutter and downspout. o Remove and dispose fascia materials including metal flashing and wood soffit. o Wood decking o Batt insulation o Soffit Panels o Damaged pipe extensions Structural Repair: o Remove and replace damaged 2x8 joists as directed by owner and engineer. o Install reinforcement at each 2x8 joist as indicated on plans. Move/relocate electrical components as necessary to perform structural repairs. All electrical work must be permitted and performed according to local code. Repair any gypsum ceiling damaged during structural repairs. All gypsum repair will include taping, priming, and painting/texturing to match existing. Roof Replacement: o Install new wood decking over entire roof area. Size of decking and fastening per plans. o Replace damaged ventilation pipe extensions. o Install new insulation and EPDM roof system per details. o Install new gutter and downspout at roof perimeter. o Install new aluminum soffit. Mobilization and Demobilization: o Provide all labor, material, plant, equipment, permits, temporary utilities and facilities, health and safety devices and procedures, waste storage and disposal facilities and all else required and necessary to complete the work. o When the project is completed, remove all temporary equipment, facilities and devices from the structure and site and restore the structure and site to its original condition and to the satisfaction of the owner. Miscellaneous Labor: o Provide hourly cost for relocation of electrical/mechanical items required to perform structural repairs. o Provide hourly cost for repair of interior gypsum ceiling material (including material, taping, texturing, and painting) damaged during construction activities. |
