West & Lewis Ave. Sidewalk Reconstruction, Expansion and Related Work with Alternate #1 - Main Street Bus Stops The Town of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, through its Town Manager on behalf of the Select board, seeks redevelopment proposals for the Disposition, by sale or lease, of Real Property known as Housatonic School located at 207 Pleasant Street, Housatonic, Massachusetts, a three story, 21,000 square foot, former elementary school. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to cancel this request for proposals at any time, if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so. The Town also reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal process and make an award deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. Substantial completion o fwork shall be no later than October 15,2023. The Town of Great Barrington, acting through its Department of Public Works, invites sealed bids from contractors approved by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation for the West & Lewis Ave. Sidewalk Reconstruction, Expansion and Related Work with Alternate #1 - Main Street Bus Stops project. The work to be performed includes sidewalk reconstruction/replacement, sidewalk extension (new sidewalk) and related work. Alternate work includes installation of two bus stops and related walkways on the east and west side of Main Street in the vicinity of Town Hall. The physical structure for the bus stops will be supplied by the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority in knock-down form. Contractor will be responsible for assembly
