Description | Demolition of existing restroom building, slabs, concrete stairs, walls, and other items associated with buildings. Supply and Install two (2) 2-seat CXT vault restrooms and vaults. Supply and Install two (2) bearproof trash bins. Supply and Install two (2) hydrants with accompanying drain pit. New waterline to include trenching, backfilling, and bedding material. Remove and dispose lift station pump assembly and fencing. Disconnect and transport generator and propane tank to warehouse (approximately 1 mile). Installation and compaction of fill material, and aggregate, and grading. Construction of concrete walks and slabs. Work associated with this project shall consist of upgrading Sabino Canyon Recreation Area toilets which are currently not functional, unsafe, and are past their life expectancy. The existing toilets are flush toilets which require a lift station to pump waste up a hill and out of the Canyon. The lift station pumps are currently inoperable and require constant . New vault toilets shall be installed which will reduce water usage and lower costs. Toilets Structure (roof, walls, slabs, and stairs) shall be demolished as well as the lift station. All debris shall be removed off Federal lands and disposed of lawfully in a landfill. Planned Disturbance: Construction activities associated with this project will be to the Rattlesnake and the Y . Ground disturbance shall be to previously disturbed areas. 2. Project : Work will take at two sites within the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, which is in the city of Tucson within Pima County, Arizona. They are the Rattlesnake Toilet and the Y Toilet sites. The Sabino Canyon Recreation Area is approximately 12 miles north of downtown Tucson, AZ. The physical address of the site is 5700 N Sabino Canyon Rd, Tucson, AZ 85750. The site may be accessed using paved highways and roadways. Toilet Sites are accessible using NFSR 804 Sabino Warehouse, NFSR 100 Sabino Canyon, NFSR100A Lower Bear Canyon & NFSR 100D Sabino Dam. The coordinates for the Rattlesnake Toilet are Latitude= 32.321911, Longitude= - 110.810752. The coordinates for the Y Toilet are Latitude= 32.31083, Longitude= - 110.811414. Legal Description is Section 9, Township 13 South, Range 15 East.
