Treatment Updates at Wells 7, 11, and 12 - Plumbing Construction

A. The following description is provided for general information only and may not represent the actual conditions to be encountered during the performance of the Work. The Contractor shall examine the Project Site located on Dibblee Drive in Garden City, New York in order to obtain an understanding of local and on-site conditions. B. The Owner and/or its Engineer will not be responsible for any deductions, interpretations or conclusions drawn by the Contractor as to the nature of the site or the efforts required to perform the Work, that differ from the written description or the apparent conditions as determined by an on-site visit. The project includes the construction of an advanced oxidation process (AOP) and nitrate removal facility, as well as other miscellaneous upgrades, for the Town of Hempstead's Roosevelt Field Water District Wells 7, 11, and 12 site. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town of Hempstead for not less than 5% of the estimated amount of the bid. Bid documents may be viewed at the Office of the Commissioner of General Services, c/o Division of Public Works, Town Hall, Room 211, Hempstead, New York. Federal equal opportunity and labor standards are applicable for all work performed under this Contract. The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
