Description | Description CITY FACILITIES ROOF REPAIRS 2023 Each section of the electronic IFB corresponds to a section in the PDF IFB and contains space to answer the questions asked in the PDF IFB. Refer to the PDF IFB as you provide information in the electronic IFB. There are multiple data entry fields available for some topics and not all of the data fields will be completed for that topic. If that were to occur, put "N/A" in those fields that are not completed for that topic. For example, there is space to acknowledge addenda. If no addenda are published, put "N/A" in all the remaining data fields for that topic. Bids submitted to the City of Columbus must come from the account/digital ID of a person authorized to enter into contract on behalf of the company. Each bid submitted must include a completed Proposal Signature Affidavit. If a bid is submitted from an account/digital ID of a person who does not have the authority to enter into contract on behalf of the company and the company cannot provide the affidavit, the bid shall be deemed nonresponsive. The projects are located within the City of Columbus area. Eight (8) buildings have modified bitumen roof systems and one (1) building is built up roof with gravel ballast. All buildings, except Jerry Hammond Center, are 1-story facilities. Jerry Hammond Center and Recreation and Parks Department are 3-stories with 4th floor mechanical attics. Seven of the nine buildings are Fire Stations; one building is a Police Substation/Records Room. The scope of work includes various roof repairs inclusive of isolated anomaly removal and replacement, liquid flashing application, sealants, roof drain modifications, etc., and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, and City of Columbus Construction and Material Specifications as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB).
