Description

Environmental review consulting services for its federal HUD HOME residential rehabilitation program. The proposed projects consist of demolition and new construction of two owner-occupied single-family residences in unincorporated Escambia County under the HOME program. Escambia County has calculated the noise levels for the two single family units in accordance with HUD’s DNL-Calculator. Both units currently exceed the allowable maximum limits per HUD requirements. The County seeks assessment of the current sites as well as a recommendation by the firm related to mitigation measures that the County can take in order to achieve environmental review clearance and proceed with the proposed projects. Mitigation measures may include barriers, construction methods, or site design features. The County will provide preliminary noise assessment data for each residence for review by the firm.
