| Description | Scope of Work: Buena High School: a. The work includes complete tear-off down to existing metal deck of an existing aggregate ballasted built-up roof and installation of new insulation and an EPDM roof system, with all associated terminations and flashing. New steel roof ladders are also required. Scope of Work: Buena Middle School: a. Base Bid: The base bid roofing work includes installation of a retrofit standing seam metal roof system over top of the existing asphalt shingle roof system. b. Deduct Alternate 1: Includes removal of the existing asphalt shingle roofing down to deck and installation a conventional snap-lock standing seam metal roof in lieu of the base bid roof system. c. Deduct Alternate 2: Includes removal of the existing asphalt shingle roofing down to deck, installation of an additional layer of sheathing, and installation of a new asphalt shingle roof system in lieu of the base bid roof system. |
