Vegetation Management for Fire Safety

The San Francisco Unified School District is soliciting Proposals from landscape contractors to implement on a bi-annual basis vegetation management for fire safety services ("Abatement Services") on approximately forty (40) acres across seventeen (17) District properties throughout the City and County of San Francisco. The Abatement Services work will include, among others, trimming of grasses as outlined in Section 3.0, and as- needed additional services from time to time as outlined in Section 3.2. These Abatement Services must meet all applicable state and local laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations. A contract made pursuant to this RFP shall have an initial term of three (3) years. In addition, the District, in its sole discretion, shall have two (2) options to extend the term of the contract for a period or periods of up to one (1) year each. The maximum contract period shall not be more than five (5) years.
