Logan District Office Roof Replacement

A. This project includes all work required to rehabilitate one roof covering system owned by the Forest Service on the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete all the BID ITEMS as described in the contract documents. B. The work includes, but is not limited to: removal and disposal of the existing roof coverings (dispose per local jurisdiction rules), furnish and installation underlayment materials, sheet metal flashing and trim to match existing color (Forest Service brown), new vent collars, and roof coverings (architectural asphalt shingles). Shingles shall be per the specifications. The more stringent of the manufactures’ installation instructions and specifications herein are required. Measurement of the roof components and quantities shall be the responsibility of the contractor. C. The Logan District Office roof area is approximately 4,754 SF with a 5:12 pitch hipped roof. D. This project is to be constructed while the building is occupied by the user. Coordination and phasing of work the COR is required. Staging and storage of materials are to be coordinated with the COR prior to the start of the project. Damages to any portion of the building while this project is completed are to be repaired with matching finishes of what is now installed. Clean out any debris that falls into the landscaping.
