Southwest Drive Storm Drain Improvements

A. The Work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services, and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. A general description of the Work is set forth in the Invitation to Bid (Document 00 11 16). B. General Conditions: as published in Document 00 72 00 in the 2017 Edition of the Manual of Standard Specifications by the Utah Chapter of the American Public Works Association. Work of this Construction Contract comprises the installation of approximately 765 linear feet of 18-inch and 40 linear feet of 15-inch diameter storm drain pipe, (1) double inlet combo box and (2) double inlet boxes, (2) 5-foot diameter manholes, approximately 150 square feet of 6-foot waterway and related appurtenances. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany bids The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids; or to accept or reject the whole or any part of any bid; to award schedules separately or together to contractors, or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the best interest of the City. Only bids giving a firm quotation properly signed will be accepted.
