Description

Remove invasive woody biomass on 9 acres. Tamarisk and Russian olive will be removed using the cut- stump treatment method. This involves cutting using chainsaws, piling of material, and immediate herbicide application to the cut stumps. Cut material will be chipped using a chipper. The goal of the project is to eliminate these invasive species in the canyon, and to re-establish native riparian tree species and reduce hazardous fuel loading.
