Huntley-Dundee Sanitary Sewer Replacement - 22-PWSew-004 - Village of Huntley

There is a 600 LF length of 6" sanitary sewer on Huntley Dundee Road that serves multiple commercial properties and has frequent back-up issues. 6" pipe is the minimum size of a sewer service lateral for a single property whereas 8" is the minimum size of a public sewer main serving multiple properties. The pipe needs to be up-sized to 8" since it serves multiple buildings. The current pipe also has back-pitch in sections that also needs to be corrected with the new pipe to improve hydraulics. As of July 13, 2023, this project is included in the Village of Huntley's FY 2023 - FY 2027 CIP and funding is for construction is allotted for FY 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
