Description

The Mills Fire Department is accepting bids for the purchase and installation of a Vehicle Exhaust Removal System at its fire station located at 300 Lakeview Drive, Mills, WY 82604. All bids shall be submitted on bid forms prepared and provided by the City of Mills No bids transmitted by facsimile or email will be accepted or considered. No bids shall be awarded by the City until such time as the City has had sufficient time to study all bids to assure that the bid awarded will meet the standard as set out in the specifications. The City of Mills Governing Body reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities or informalities in the bids. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or a separate certified or cashier s check payable to the City of Mills, Wyoming, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid. Upon approval of the bid, the successful bidder s check shall be deposited immediately. All bid bonds shall remain in effect until the remaining amount of the bid is paid to the City of Mills, and the property is successfully transferred. The bid shall include: 1. Rail/track system for five (5) bays, two (2) of which are pull through 2. Eight (8) drop down hose connections 3. Eight (8) tail pipe adapters 4. Duct work 5. Exhaust fan 6. Control panel for fan assembly and operation 7. Pricing for system design, equipment, installation, and startup/training. 8. Maintenance and warranty 9. All costs associated with installation, including electrical, travel, equipment rental (man lift). The above mentioned list and terminology may not be all inclusive and bidders should evaluate the needs based on an onsite visit, based on a specific manufacturers design feature, however, the complete system should be designed to reduce or eliminate vehicle exhaust into the apparatus bay.
