Phase 2 OSP Procurement Installation / Construction

1. Owner's Material List on Hand to be included in Pre-Bid Notes. Contractor to supply all items not included in the list. 2. Reel sizes shown in Owner's Material List on Hand correspond to necessary reel lengths and splicing locations. Due to vendor shortages, actual field lengths of cable reels are different and larger. OCBB will identify the necessary reels for the corresponding reel schematics. Any additional off reeling or cable handling should be accommodated by the contractor in the labor price bid in the CO unit section. 3. Bids can be submitted via or dropped off at Orangeburg County Office of Procurement, prior to bid time. 4. A Bid Bond is required for this project in the amount of 10%. 5. 2" conduit to be placed with all BM60 units. Contractor to provide conduit for construction of BM60. Conduit to be minimum 2" HPDE SDR17 or equivalent. 6. Pedestal Installation drawings included in Pre-Bid Notes. 7. BA3. Stub Poles removed from bid. 8. Splicer to ground cable in closures and peds. 9. Contract bond will include value of material. 10. Plowing Operations should be between 8am & 5pm Monday-Friday. Cleanup/Setup activities may take place before or after as directed by Onsite Engineer. 11.
