Description

Sealed proposals for furnishing all necessary labor, tools, materials and equipment, and performing all work required to construct completely all portions of the project described as 2023 Chip Seal Project, Old Belle Road, McGuigan Road & North Rochford Road Lawrence County, South Dakota, in accordance with Plans and Specifications prepared by Interstate Engineering of Spearfish, South Dakota Proposals shall be filed at the office of the Auditor at Lawrence County Courthouse, Deadwood, South Dakota, 57732 and shall be marked: Proposal For: 2023 Chip Seal Project, Old Belle Road, McGuigan Road & North Rochford Road LAWRENCE COUNTY, SOUTH DAKOTA The major division of work contemplated under this proposal is as follows: LAWRENCE COUNTY: Chip seal, fog seal and striping of following areas: Old Belle Road; 5.43 Miles McGuigan Road; 1.85 Miles North Rochford Road; 3.48 Miles Completion Deadline Date: September 15, 2023 Payments to the Contractor will be made in cash, based on monthly estimates for work completed, subject to the retained percentages as specified in the Information for Bidders. All proposals will be made on the forms furnished by the Owner. Each bidder shall submit with his proposal a certified check or cashiers check, in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, or Bid Bond in the amount often percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, and made payable to Lawrence County, South Dakota, as a guarantee of the bidder entering into a contract for the construction of the work and furnishing of a 100% performance and a 100% payment bond. The Contractor shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, creed, color, national origin, or gender. The Contractor shall take affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated, during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, national origin, or gender The Lawrence County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities there in.
