Landscape Maintenance Services for City North Area Parks and Preservations (JSEB Set-Aside)

The work covered by these specifications consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and performing all operations necessary to provide routine maintenance of turfgrass areas and beds in CITY owned parks and cemeteries and the adjacent grassed rights-of-way. Turfgrass areas are defined as vegetated areas covered with turf, weeds, a combination of grass and weeds, vines, and trees and shrubs with a stem diameter of up to 2-inches, when measured six-inches above the ground. Such vegetation may be dead or alive. Turfgrass maintenance includes the collection and disposal of litter and debris, turfgrass mowing, edging, trimming, and the removal of debris generated by these operations. The name, location, and size of the park and cemetery parcels to be maintained are shown on Exhibit A through F in the Special Conditions Section of the RFP. This Request for Proposals has a 40% participation goal for Jacksonville Small and Emerging Businesses.
