Description

The City of Palm Coast is requesting proposals from qualified vendors. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment tools, supervision, and any/all other items required for the completion of this project. This project consists of the removal of approximately 160-L.F. of 72-inch Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) and replacing with 160-L.F. of Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) with concrete end walls; the excavation and disposal of approximately 35,000 cubic yards of material from the Easthampton and Eisenhower Waterways; and all associated clearing, grubbing, erosion control, maintenance of traffic, stabilization, and re-vegetation. Incidental work could include protecting existing structures to remain, coordinating with utility companies to ensure minimal loss of service (if any), replacing all existing signs that have either been damaged or removed as part of the construction activities, and managing and maintaining creek flows so as to not cause adverse impacts either upstream or downstream of the worksite. The City of Palm Coast shall not be responsible for any damage or delay caused by the contractor’s failure to adequately handle creek flows during construction. Any additional work not included either on this description or on the Bid Document’s Pay Items list shall not be compensated.
