Buckley AFB Buildings 1510 and 1511 Fire Alarm Replacement

Replacement of the Building 1510, Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF), and Building 1511 Hangar fire alarm systems located at Buckley Air Force Base (BAFB) in Aurora, CO. The AASF building is approximately 132,000 SF including aircraft maintenance bays, maintenance shops, flight operations area, offices, classrooms, and storage. Building 1511 is approximately 14,400 SF consisting of a hangar bay with separated fire control and mechanical room. Project includes modifications to the existing fire alarm and mass notification systems (FA/MNS), and replacement of the existing hangar alarm devices with a new Det-tronics system. Existing fire alarm equipment and devices will be removed. New equipment will be in the same locations as existing devices to enable reuse of conduit and wire where allowable. New MNS equipment will be combined devices with clear str obes labeled with "alert". An existing HEF fire suppression releasing system will be replaced and monitored by the FACP. The new foam releasing panel and equipment, including design, will be provided by Det-tronics. FA/MNS panel and equipment shall be Simplex, meeting Buckley Air Force Base requirements
