The description of the project is as follows: Rehabilitation of the Armstrong Tunnel including repair/replacement of pavement and sidewalks, repairs to steel, masonry, and drainage, upgrades to lighting, electrical, and tunnel safety systems, signing and pavement markings, and installation of a CCTV monitoring system along with other miscellaneous construction, all within a length of 1429.05 linear feet (0.271 miles) as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for ARMSTRONG TUNNEL in ALLEGHENY COUNTY, CITY OF PITTSBURGH, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The project being situated as follows: From approximately the intersection of Second Avenue and the Armstrong Tunnel (Station 0+00.00) to a point approximately 1447.36 feet north to the intersection of Forbes Avenue and the Armstrong Tunnel (Station 14+57.83).
