Cleaning Services - Various Town Facilities

The work consists of, but is not limited to, the general housekeeping and cleaning of Nine sites within the Town of North Castle as listed within the specifications. Work shall consist of, but is not limited to, the general housekeeping and cleaning of Eleven (11) sites within the Town of North Castle as listed below. The scope of the work shall include: cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors with disinfectant; vacuuming carpets; spot cleaning of all carpets; cleaning and disinfection of water coolers; dusting furniture and office equipment, counters, windowsills, radiators and venetian blinds; wiping down walls where specified; cleaning glass areas in all buildings, cleaning restrooms including disinfecting commodes, urinals and water basins, cleaning and dry polishing of all mirrors; spot cleaning walls and partitions; cleaning and polishing of bright metal works; replacing paper products such as hand towels and toilet tissue-supplied by the Town; emptying all wastebaskets and replacing liners (including sanitary product containers in women’s restrooms); removing recyclables and trash. All phones will be dusted and sanitized weekly. Whenever on premises attention should be given to the staff lounges where food is stored and consumed, which includes sink, counter, chairs and tables; cleaning of all trash cans, appliances and fixtures. Staff lounge floors must be washed. Lavatories must be washed and vitreous fixtures such as bowls, seats, urinals & basins disinfected and cleaned; Lavatory floors must be washed with a mop separate of the one used for general cleaning; mirrors and backsplashes adjacent to basins must be cleaned. All cleaning product used should provide sanitation, kill organisms, and remediate odors. Cleaning products should be used at a concentration recommended by the manufacture to achieve effective cleaning and disinfection.
