Project Description: Remodeling work as follows:. 1. Base Bid - Abate lead based paint coated trim and other elements. Replace wood trim pieces with like shapes (ranch) and other indicated elements in similar configuration painted to match existing. Contractor shall follow workplace prep for a low-dust project (Chapter 8) and worker protection (Chapter 9) as specified in HUD Guideline for the Evaluation and Control of Lead-Based Paint Hazards in Housing, 2012. 2. Alternate Bid 1 - Provide full containment at all work areas. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. Project is Tax Exempt. Project is subject to Davis Bacon Prevailing Wages for Residential Construction. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 00 2113 - Instructions to Bidders. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
