Description | This project consists of major repairs/upgrades to the HVAC system at Stewart Hall, Southern University in Baton Rouge. Stewart Hall, built in 1971, is three stories and is approximately 64,732 s.f. The building is currently conditioned by perimeter floor mounted two pipe fan coil units. Two constant volume air handlers serve the first floor auditorium. Chilled and hot water are supplied by a campus loop. General exhaust is accomplished by roof mounted fans. The scope of work includes replacement of all floor mounted two pipe fan coil units, replacement of the CW and HW pumps, update outside air requirements and ventilation to current codes and standards, and provide an energy management system with direct digital controls (DDC) or computer based controllers. |
