Exterior Stair Replacement

1. Existing exterior stairs shall be replaced to maintain a secondary means of egress from the second floor office space. 2. Replacement stairs and wall mounted handrail shall meet code requirements for handrails and landing area. 3. Stairs and handrail shall be shop painted. 4. Shop drawings of stairs and handrail shall be provided for review and approval, and for use in obtaining a building permit from New Britain Borough if required. Provide engineering calculations to support the permit application. 5. CBSD will apply and pay for any required permits from New Britain Borough. 6. Work shall include removal and disposal of existing stairs and handrails. 7. Work shall include restoration of any lawn or site features disturbed during Work. 8. Bid proposal shall include all manpower, equipment, and tools necessary to complete the project in a neat and workmanlike manner.
