Plans call for the construction of a 1,200 mile pipeline with origin points in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Illinois to capture and sequester CO2 from various industrial sources. The Sequestration site will be located in Illinois. As of September 28, 2022, this project is in litigation. A hearing has been scheduled for September 30, 2022.
