Description | Project has been awarded to Dickerson Infrastructure, Inc dba Dickerson Florida. Awarded amount is $3,478,155.50. PROJECT NO: 3330.2000164.0000 questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to PURCHASING (purchasing@ircgov.com) in writing. The proposed project includes realigning a portion of existing 11th Drive immediately south of 37th Street and south through the 36th Court 4-way stop. Construct a new public road segment of 11th Drive North of 37th Street to currently undeveloped property. Improve the existing intersection of 11th Drive and 37th street by installing a new mast arm traffic signal with pedestrian cross walks, curb ramps, sidewalk ramps, signage, and pavement markings. Improve the existing Go-Line bus stops by installing separate turn-outs that will allow for the buses to pull off the 37th Street travel lanes to load and off-load passengers. Construct drainage improvements to the existing system to improve function. All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. In the event the Contract is awarded to the Bidder, Bidder will enter in a Contract with the County and furnish the required 100% Public Construction Bond and certificates of insurance within the timeframe set by the County. If Bidder fails to do so, the Bid Security shall be retained by the County as liquidated damages and not as penalty. The County reserves the right to delay awarding of the Contract for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening, to waive informalities in any bid, or reject any or all bids in whole or in part with or without cause/or to accept the bid that, in its judgement, will serve the best interest of Indian River County, Florida. The County will not reimburse any Bidder for bid preparation costs. Contract Time: 240 days to substantial completion 270 days to final completion Liquidated Damages: $2,712.00 per day |
