Water Main Extension and Septic Tank and Drain Field Installation Services

The Rosebud Sioux Tribe Child Care Services Program is requesting written Request for proposals for Water Main Extension & Septic Tank and Drain Field Installation for a period commencing on September 19 , 2022 through September 23, 2022. SCOPE OF WORK RST Child Care Services Program seeks qualified contractors for Extension of the Water main and Septic System and drain field. Water Main Extension provides water service and fire protection to the Child Care Facility currently under construction, and is sized to supply planned additional facilities on the same site. 2. Septic Tank and Drain Field Installation for Child Care Headquarters Building provides sewer service to Child Care Facility currently under construction, which has been designed for COVID response and infectious disease containment. Interested contractors will review the drawings for clarification for the complete scope of work. Drawings may be obtained by calling Galen Boltz at 605 319-6197. INDIAN PREFERENCE Pursuant to (24 CFR 1000.48-1000.54 Indian Preference), responsive proposals will be accepted from Indian as well as non-Indian owned Independent Public Accountants firms. Indian owned firms wishing to qualify for Indian Preference must submit a pre-qualification application with their proposal. All non-Indian firms must also submit a pre-qualification application. All pre-qualification applications must be received at the RST Child Care Services Program with your proposal. All proposals submitted must state that it will remain open for a period of sixty (60) days. Proposals are required to contain the following: 1. A description of any associates with other firms or any forms of subcontracts; 2. Names, addresses and telephone numbers of at least three references (preferably tribes, tribal housing authorities or other tribal entities); 3. A summary of services currently being offered and a statement of experience. Specific descriptions of experience and ability regarding the services being requested must be included; 4. Statement describing knowledge and experience in construction/carpentry services; 5. Time frame for completion 6. Lump Sum Price; 7. Proof of eligibility for Indian Preference (if preference is sought); 8. A statement detailing the firm or individuals employment and training opportunities, its plans to provide preference to Indians and the number or percentage of Indians to be employed or trained; 9. Note: All of the RFP documents as detailed in the above shall be submitted or the proposal shall be deemed no responsive. TRIBAL TAXATION Those submitting a proposal must obtain a Tribal Business License prior to be awarded a contract, including and not limited to use or sale excise tax. TECRO The successful proposal will be responsible to comply with the Rosebud Sioux Tribe TECRO Ordinance, including any licensing requirements and fees. RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL OFFERS The Rosebud Sioux Tribe reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or to waive any information or irregularities.
