Description

Project base bid consists of sealing of existing cracks in the surface, cleaning and preparing the courts, installation of a two-inch (2") stone dust base course, leveling of depressed areas in the existing surface as needed, installation of approximately 340 tons of hot mix asphalt surface course, installation of rust block and installation of a new acrylic coating system, and striping on four (4) tennis courts. Work shall also include removal and replacement of existing ten-foot (10') high fencing and gates, as well as installation of new tennis court nets and net posts. The Contractor shall be aware that the acrylic coating system cannot be applied when the surface temperature is below 50 F or when fog, rain, or high humidity is imminent.
