Floor Refurbishing and Painting Service

The work consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment to paint restroom floors located at USCG Air Station Atlantic City, FAA Technical Center, Bldg. 350, Atlantic City Intl. Airport, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. A. Clean all horizontal and vertical surfaces that are to be painted. B. Quality Assurance (QA) office: remove carpet and cove base. C. Electronic Support Division (ESD) office- remove rubber mat floor. D. GSE shop-remove existing floor paint. E. Clean and abrade surface. F. Floor shall be damp mopped 2 times before floor coatings are applied. G. Contractor shall create 4" epoxy cove up the entire perimeter of the offices. Paint shall be applied in accordance with manufactures guidelines. H. Floor paint will be a 5 coat 2 part 100% solids epoxy system similar to Coatings for Industries Wearcoat. Double broadcast flake floor. Contractor to provide color chart for color selection. I. 5 coats shall consist of moisture mitigating primer ( 10 mils), base coat (10 mils), top coat ( 5 mils),the double broadcast shall be 100% coverage in ESD shop, 2 urethane coats ( 5 mils). J. Contractor shall provide one, 3’ decal to be applied on floor and sealed under 2 coats of clear urethane. SOW (Enclosure 1) Decal location will be located in the center of the QA office. K. Contractor shall provide Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets of all products to be used for USCG review. L. Attachments have approximate sq. ft. listed.
