2022 Township Interim Road and Maintenance Services

Work will include, general road maintenance and repair services (including but not limited to road and pothole patching, shoulder repairs, downed tree removal, storm water drainage maintenance, sign installation and repair, maintenance services at the Township Park & Preserves and/or Municipal Building), and any other projects as deemed appropriate by the Board of Supervisors and the Township staff. Such work at the Township Park & Preserves will include but is not limited to the following: maintenance and repair of: park buildings/structures, various athletic courts and fields; as well as, a playground. Maintenance and repairs will be required on pedestrian (natural and asphalt) trails at the Township Park & Preserves; this work will involve (but is not limited to) mowing/cutting/clearing and grubbing of trails and cutting back of limbs, trees, vines, wild rose bushes, etc. The successful Contractor must have knowledge of and experience with properly trimming/cutting of trees, shrubs, and bushes; this type of work will need to be performed at the Township Park/Preserves and at the Municipal Building. Such services will not include road paving & road reconstruction, road bank mowing, road de-icing and or snowplowing services. The Contractor shall provide all tools and minor equipment necessary to perform the work and such costs shall be included in the labor / or truck time rates.
