96-inch Water Transmission Main Relocation and Isolation Valve Installations - 122004 - The Great Lakes Water Authority

Relocate 2.5 miles of 96-inch transmission main currently located in an EPA NPL landfill, a portion of which is submerged in landfill leachate. Relocation includes crossing the Clinton River, coordination with many various authorities having jurisdiction and easement acquisition. Isolation valve installation portion of the project provides the ability to isolate segments of the 96-inch main between Imlay Station and North Service Center for maintenance while maintaining customer expected level . As of August 16, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2025. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
