The Contractor is responsible to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies and supervision for Renovation of Research Area - Animal Lab in accordance withthe statement of work (SOW), specifications, and drawings attached. This is a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside procurement. All prospective bidders must be registered in SAM (www.sam.gov), Dun & Bradstreet (www.DNB.com) and are verified/visible/certified in VIP VetBiz (www.vetbiz.gov) at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement. Offerors must submit their annual Vets4212 Report. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220, with a business size standard of $39.5 Million. Project magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. A Prebid site visit meeting is scheduled for June 30th at 10:00AM ET. Prospective bidders shall meet at the Manhattan Campus, Atrium Area. NO OTHER SITE VISITS WILL BE ALLOWED. INTERESTED BIDDERS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. All Solicitation Amendments are to be acknowledged. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. IAW FAR 36.209, No contract for the construction of a project shall be awarded to the firm that designed the project or its subsidiaries or affiliates, except with the approval of the head of the agency or authorized representative. Pre-Bid Site Visit Instructions A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Thursday, June 30th at 10:00 AM ET. Prospective bidders shall meet in the Atrium area near the main elevators. NOTE: NO OTHER SITE VISITS WILL BE ALLOWED. INTERESTED BIDDERS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.
