Description | Site Directions: Albion Municipal Airport. 3 miles NW of Albion on Hwy 14. furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary on the: Improve Access Road (Pave) Albion Municipal Airport (BVN) Albion, Nebraska FAA AIP No. 3-31-0002-014 Copies of the bid documents including project drawings and technical specifications are on file and may be inspected at: Kirkham, Michael & Associates, Inc., 5621 NW 1st Street, Suite 400, Lincoln, Nebraska Albion Airport Authority, 2277 State Highway 14, Albion, Nebraska Nebraska Department of Transportation - Division of Aeronautics, 3431 Aviation Road, Suite 150, Lincoln, Nebraska Contact documents may be examined at the above addresses. Questions regarding bids shall be directed to Kirkham, Michael & Associates, Inc. at the above address in writing no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening. Project Category Code: Paving (Parking Lot Paving), Airport: Runways, Taxiways, Access Roads, Aprons, Paving (Highway, Road or Street) Description: Creating a temporary 12' rock access road and parking lot. Construct 12-inch compacted subgrade and 20-foot wide 7-inch P.C.C. overlay of the current access road and parking lot using Nebraska State Specifications 47B concrete mix. Mark new parking stall following ADA requirements The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the Albion Airport Authority. Bids may be held by the Albion Airport Authority, for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved, as the Albion Airport Authority, may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The owner has established a contract goal of 0.70 percent participation for small business concerns owned and controlled by qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The bidder shall make and document good faith efforts, as defined in Appendix A of 49 CFR Part 26. The Albion Airport Authority in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
