Description

** As of July 15, 2022, project has not been awarded yet. ** Base Proposal: $1.4 M to $1.6M, Total of Three Additive Alternatives: $250,000 to $350,000 Any statements made by City representatives, agents, or employees at the pre-proposal conference are not binding on the City unless confirmed by written addendum to the Contract Docu ments. The Work for this Contract involves the construction of a new structure at Well No. 2, including an approximately 270 square foot (SF) concrete masonry unit (CMU) generator room and a 340 SF CMU well room; the construction of a 220 SF CMU generator room structure at Well No. 3; the installation of miscellaneous mechanical piping, a new vertical turbine well pump and motor, and approximately 1,200 feet of water service line; and the completion of miscellaneous electrical, control, and instrumentation improvements; together with all other Work required to complete the Project as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. Potential additive alternative work to the Project includes the installation of reservoir mixing appurtenances to the existing 750,000-gallon reservoir; construction of an approximately 1,200 SF wood-framed maintenance room at Well No. 2; and the installation of a north chlorine residual analyzer. No paper sets will be provided for proposal purposes. Only a Price Proposal Form obtained from the Engineer shall be used for pricing purposes. The Proposer shall provide his or her mailing address, tele phone number, and fax number when Contract Documents are requested. Pre-qualification of proposers is not required. All proposers are required to comply with the provisions of federal law, Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS), and City policies and procedures. Proposers are required to certify non-discrimination in employment practices as defined in ORS 279A.110. The City expressly reserves the right to: 1. Reject any or all proposals not in compliance with public contracting proce dures or unacceptable to the City; 2. Waive informalities in the proposals; 3. Select the proposal which appears to be in the best interest of the City; and 4. Postpone or delay the award of the contract if such postponement or delay is in the best interest of the City. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
