Description

The project is located along the southern shoreline of Florida bordering the Atlantic Ocean within the City of Marathon, which is located approximately 115 miles south of Miami. The project area encompasses approximately 1,500 feet of coastline in the City of Marathon along Coco Plum Beach. The total fill volume to be placed within the beach fill construction template is approximately 699 cubic yards (1,050 tons) of beach quality sand. The upland staging and access areas are located along Coco Plum Drive.
