Combined estimated quantities of work are: 12'x10' Precast Conc Box Culvert - 160 LIN FT, 12'x 10' Precast Concrete Box Culvert End Sections - 4 EACH, 15" CS Pipe Culvert (Riveted) - 52 LIN FT, 15" GS Pipe Apron - 1 EACH, 18" CS Pipe Culvert (Riveted) - 136 LIN FT, 18" GS Pipe Apron - 2 EACH, 24" CS Pipe Culvert (Riveted) - 56 LIN FT, 24" GS Pipe Apron - 1 EACH, Remove Existing Bridge - 1 LUMP SUM, Aggregate Base Class 5 - 1848 TON, Bituminous Mixture - 411 TON, Common Borrow (LV) - 2207 CU YD, Remove Pipe Culvert - 235 LIN FT, Aggregate Backfill (CV) (P) - 208 CU YD, Random Riprap Class 2 (Quarry-run) - 98 CU YD, Turf Establishment and other miscellaneous construction items. Kandiyohi County will receive and accept bids ONLY through QuestCDN via their electronic VirtuBid online bid service. A virtual bid opening will be held at the day and time of the bid closing listed above utilizing Microsoft Teams Meeting. NO PAPER BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Minimum wage rates to be paid by the contractor have been predetermined. Read carefully the wage scales contained in the Special Provisions, as they affect this project. Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must comply with the Special Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, contained in the proposal. The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the County.
