**As of October 28, 2022, project was awarded toE&B awarded amount is $2,795,863.10 ** The Project includes the following Work: The scope of work expected under this contract includes: The project includes 24th Street from Walnut to Madison, 21st Street from Blaine to Macedonia, 17th Street from Walnut to Vine, 16th Street from Jefferson to Madison, Elm Street from 14th to 15th, Pierce Street from 9th to 11th, Pierce Street from 11th to Memorial, Jefferson Street from South Railroad Right of Way to 1st Street, Jeffersoan Street from 3rd to Willard, Jefferson Street from Willard to 8th, Howard Street from Proud to Mound, Hutchinson Avenue from Godman to White River, Locust from Yale to McGaillard, Wolfe Street from North to Main, Wolfe street from Dead End to Wysor, Wolfe Street from Streeter to Waid, State Street from Manor to Gilbert, Bowman Avenue from Rosewood to Glenwood, Bowman Avenue from Ball Avenue to New York, Manring Avenue from Dead End to Waid, Harvard Avenue from New York to Lanewood, Gilbert from Bennet to State, Manor from Bennet to State; all locations within the City of Muncie, Indiana. The scope of work for each of the above listed sites consists at various locations of: milling and resurfacing, full depth patching of hot mix asphalt, patching of hot mix asphalt to achieve level at-grade surfaces, removing and replacing existing gravel surfaces with full depth hot mix asphalt, cleaning and removing debris from existing inlets and resetting the casting, removing existing trees, removing and replacing existing sidewalk, removing and replacing existing curb, restoring existing curb, constructing new curb, constructing new accessible curb ramps, adding detectable warning strips to existing accessible curb ramps, and removing and replacing existing driveways within the right-of-way. The work also includes various coordination with 3rd parties for replacing existing storm sewer infrastructure and adjusting casting rims to match finished road surfaces. The Project is expected to reach substantial completion by October 31, 2022 with final completion by November 30, 2022.
