Construction of Westwood Shores MUD, Water Well No. 2 and Well 1 Improvements

Any contract(s) awarded under this Invitation for Bids is/are subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of federal law, including federal appropriation acts and Section 1452(a)(4) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (42U.S.C. 300j-12(a)(4), as applicable . Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive/deductive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age (40 or older), disability, or genetic information. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Department of Labour regulations at 41 CFR Part 60-4, relating to Construction Contractors Affirmative Action Requirements, which include the President s Executive Order No. 11246, as amended by Executive Order No. 11375 and Executive Order No. 13672, in the award and administration of contracts awarded under TWDB financial assistance agreements. Failure by the Contractor to carry out these requirements is a material breach, which may result in the termination of the awarded financial assistance. A cashier s check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond, a payment bond and a maintenance bond as provided for in the bid documents, for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidding and contract documents may be examined or obtained electronically. Notification of any revisions to the bid documents The Bidder is responsible for periodically checking the website for revisions. All questions must be submitted before 3:00 PM CST on July 18, 2022. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
